This week, Michigan Democrats celebrated the state budget that protects all Michiganders, not just the 1%.

Thanks to Governor Whitmer’s leadership and Democrats in Lansing who refused to back down, Michigan has a budget that protects Medicaid, free school lunches, public school funding, and a historic roads plan that creates thousands of good-paying jobs in our state.

This is the difference Democratic leadership makes, and it’s why we need to put in the work now to make sure Michigan elects a Democratic governor and takes back the state House in 2026.

They failed because Democrats refused to back down from the fight and stood strong for Michiganders.

This is what it looks like when Democrats put people first. And this is exactly what’s at stake in 2026.
