That vacancy has now been filled and as soon as Speaker Johnson swears in the newly elected Adelita Grijalva, the successor to her late father’s seat, Massie and Democrats can force a vote on the files. For Lauren Boebert this situation puts her political career on the line. For years, she has remained utterly silent on releasing the Epstein files and has done NOTHING for victims. This summer, she felt the pressure and signed the discharge petition. But then Donald Trump gave her a big formal endorsement. Now, she is in an unimaginable bind. Reveal to the American public the powerful men named in the Epstein files. Or keep the truth about one of the worst crimes in modern US history hidden. Faced with these options her only choice is to let the government stay permanently shutdown.
