We love celebrating every day life and turning any day into a special occaision with unique and thoughtful meals. In this case, the special occasion is California's Spiny Lobster season is open and one of our favorite fishermen, Greg Olsen, is ready to catch yours. Plus, unlike most things these days, the price is down and we want to make sure you get to enjoy the savings!

California Spiny Lobsters are highly valued for their succulent tail meat, which makes up about a third of their total weight. Unlike their East Coast relatives, California Spiny Lobsters don’t have claws,their rich, flavorful meat is concentrated entirely in the tail.Wild-caught along the Southern California coast, they are a Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Best Choice option, harvested sustainably using traditional traps, supporting local fisheries and marine ecosystems.

Broil the tails to perfection and serve with a drizzle of melted butter and a squeeze of fresh lemon, or bake them with a splash of white wine for added depth. Their firm texture and naturally sweet flavor also make them ideal for grilling or incorporating into pasta, risotto, or tacos for a West Coast twist on classic dishes.

SALE DETAILS:

We're collecting pre-orders, Greg will be fishing over the next few days and lobsters will be ready to ship out for deliveries received on or after Thursday, October 16th and can be received in the following ways:
* Added to your weekly delivery for Thursday pick up sites
* Added to your home delivery package this week
* Added to a flash sale order (we will launch the sale Weds mid morning)
* As - is! We can ship just the lobster(s) too, but will just need to add the $35 overnight delivery fee to any orders less than $100 (CA, NV, WA, OR, ID, UT only, if you live outside those states, contact us for a quick quote).

Lobsters will be delivered to you fresh and lightly steamed (not live).
