Since Donald Trump returned to office, he has been on a revenge rampage against agencies and against public servants who refuse to bow to his agenda. Since January, more than 200,000 federal workers have been fired, and over a dozen agencies have been gutted.

With this shutdown, thousands of hard-working people have been furloughed. Many can't go to work or collect a paycheck. Others are being forced to work without pay at all. They protect consumers from corporate abuse. They care for our national parks. They are our neighbors and friends who want what every family wants — to build a better life for themselves and the people they love.
