Donald Trump has always had an anti-science bent, but the president's fears of the facts seem to have escalated recently -- with Trump having now completely shunned the nation's leading infectious disease expert in the middle of a pandemic.

The Guardian reports that Dr. Anthony Fauci hasn't spoken with Trump since May 18. It seems that Trump doesn't want Dr. Fauci -- whose approval rating topped the president's by almost 30 points -- getting any more airtime with the American public.

It puts us all at risk when our leadership doesn't base their decisions on reason and evidence. Should Dr. Fauci be sidelined just because he's not afraid to "tell it like it is?" Tell us:
