We wanted to provide an update on the email we previously sent below regarding the new NGP VAN navigation and homepage beta experience . After listening carefully to client feedback, we’ve decided to move the beta experience start date for all users to Wednesday, November 12 (Thursday, November 13 for VoteBuilder). The preview for admin users will continue throughout this period, and we encourage you to continue to provide feedback and prepare users for the optional beta experience starting in November.
As you may have already heard, there’s a new NGP VAN navigation and homepage beta experience coming soon!
Admin users will get a preview starting September 17 , and all users will get a preview starting in October.
We hope you’ll take this opportunity to test out – and provide feedback on – an improved navigation and homepage design with easier-to-use menu and customization options.
This is an early look at how we’re directionally thinking about future navigation – and your feedback will directly shape where we go from here. It’s a work in progress, and we’re listening closely – every comment will be reviewed by our team.
Additionally, we’ve put together a special [[link removed]] [[link removed]] Help Center page [[link removed]] dedicated to the beta navigation and homepage design. Throughout the beta period, we’ll continue to update this page as we respond to feedback and questions.
To arrive at a design that works well across sites, we’re aiming for a high participation rate, so starting in late September, users will begin to see in-app notifications alerting them to the coming beta experience. Though the beta will be an optional experience, we’re hoping users will want to try it out for an extended period of time because it will ultimately form the basis for the site’s future look and feel. Please help us by spreading the word and encouraging them to try it out and provide feedback.
