This September, as crisp mornings return and the leaves begin to change, we’re reflecting on a summer well spent at STOP THE TRAFFIK.
It was a season of impact, and of change, as we moved offices. We continue to share a space with our partners at Justice & Care, and our new base already feels like home. The shared space has brought a renewed sense of partnership as we build projects together and leverage our collective expertise. Because we know: the fight against trafficking cannot be won alone.
** Moving with Purpose
------------------------------------------------------------
Over the summer, we teamed up with Justice & Care to host the Freedom Games – a campaign that brought businesses together to compete while raising vital funds and awareness. The impact was powerful, and we’re excited to confirm the Games will return in 2026.
As the weather cools, it’s a great time to stay motivated and start training. One participant shared:
If you’d like to take part in the next Freedom Games, or share this with your network, get in touch: .
Back to School, Back to Impact
This summer, we also released our County Lines Impact Report, shining a light on the power of prevention. Working with Burger King UK Youth, we reached young people directly – recognising that they are the experts of their own experience.
The campaign reached 383,688 young people in UK hotspots through geo-targeted ads. More than 18,598 visited our landing page for safety advice and support. Survey results showed:
* 54.5% realised they or someone they know could be at risk
* 66.67% felt more confident seeking help
* 100% said they now understand what County Lines is
As a new school term begins, we are levelling up our youth-focused work to build on this success and prevent child criminal exploitation across the UK.

Global Collaboration
Our impact reached far beyond the UK this summer. Together we:
* Hosted a hackathon with Compare the Market
* Spoke at global conferences in Mexico, Indonesia, the UK, and US
* Delivered training across sectors from agriculture to finance.
And already this September, we’ve hit the ground running:
* Ruth spoke at New York Fashion Week’s Fashion Forward event
* We launched a new prevention campaign in Bangladesh with Justice & Care, targeting women at risk of sexual exploitation
* We hosted our largest-ever intelligence community call on cryptocurrency, with 85 engaged attendees
* We shortlisted pioneers for the D2DT Awards, celebrating those using data to disrupt trafficking globally.
** Building for the Future
------------------------------------------------------------
While our external impact grows, we’re also strengthening internally. We’re investing in tech, deepening partnerships, and laying the groundwork for new projects launching next quarter – ensuring our work stays targeted, innovative, and relentless.
