Friends,

Yesterday's landmark Supreme Court ruling that federal law protects LGBTQ+ workers from discrimination was a victory -- being who you are should never be a fireable offense.

Yet the fact that three Supreme Court justices said that it's OK to fire someone simply for being part of the LGBTQ+ community is a reminder that we have a long way to go in the fight for equal rights. That's why it's critical that the Senate takes the next step in protecting LGBTQ+ people from discrimination not only in the workplace but in housing and other public accommodations by passing the Equality Act.

Will you join Pramila in calling on the Senate to be on the right side of history by FINALLY passing the Equality Act?

Yesterday's ruling was historic. But it's not enough. It's reprehensible that anyone can legally be denied service at a bank or even the purchase of their dream home simply for loving who they love or being who they are. That's why Pramila ensured that the House passed the Equality Act more than a year ago, and it's well past time for the Senate to show up for justice and equality, too.

Add your name next to Pramila's to demand that the Senate pass the Equality Act immediately. We need your name on this today to show our momentum after yesterday's landmark ruling: [link removed]

Thank you for speaking out for the rights the LGBTQ+ community deserves.
