*MnDot Road Closure Alert*
*Location:* Highway 13 (Sibley Memorial Highway), from Wachtler Ave. to Sylvandale Rd.
*Closure Period:* 9:30 a.m. Sept. 29 to 9 p.m. Oct. 3.
All lanes will be closed in both directions during this time. Please follow the detour route recommended by the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT).

Fall Tree Canopy Planting
The Mendota Heights Tree Canopy Program provides a full-service purchasing and planting program to property owners within Mendota Heights at a subsidized rate to help grow the tree canopy in Mendota Heights, and to mitigate the loss of tree canopy due to Emerald Ash Borer (EAB).

Volunteers Needed: Teaching Cribbage
Share your love of cribbage this fall by volunteering to teach new cribbage players the way of the game.
Requirements for volunteers:
* Must be able to thoroughly explain all cribbage rules to a new player.
* Must be able to teach up to 2 other players at a time.
* Must be available from 10 a.m.-Noon on Nov. 3, 10, 17, and 24.

This event is geared towards ages 8-14 but is open to all. Parental supervision is advised for those 10 and under. Food truck food will be available for purchase.
