MnDot Road Closure Alert
Location: Highway 13 (Sibley Memorial Highway), from Wachtler Ave. to Sylvandale Rd. Closure Period: 9:30 a.m. Sept. 29 to 9 p.m. Oct. 3.
All lanes will be closed in both directions during this time. Please follow the detour route recommended by the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT).

Fall Tree Canopy Planting
The Mendota Heights Tree Canopy Program provides a full-service purchasing and planting program to property owners within Mendota Heights at a subsidized rate to help grow the tree canopy in Mendota Heights, and to mitigate the loss of tree canopy due to Emerald Ash Borer (EAB).
Application deadline for fall planting is Oct. 10.

Volunteers Needed: Teaching Cribbage
Share your love of cribbage this fall by volunteering to teach new cribbage players the way of the game.
Requirements for volunteers:
- Must be able to thoroughly explain all cribbage rules to a new player.
- Must be able to teach up to 2 other players at a time.
- Must be available from 10 a.m.-Noon on Nov. 3, 10, 17, and 24.

Teen Night: Game Truck

Join Mendota Heights Parks and Recreation for an evening of video games with friends! Game Truck provides a mobile video game bus for youth to experience! From Mario Kart to NBA 2k and everything in between, there is a game for everyone. This event is open to ages 13 to 17 years.

Join Mendota Heights Parks & Recreation for a Taylor Swift listening party! We will be featuring Taylor's new album from 5-6 p.m. followed by top hits from 6-7 p.m. Enjoy an evening of dancing, food trucks, a photo booth and bracelet making! This event is geared towards ages 8-14 but is open to all. Parental supervision is advised for those 10 and under. Food truck food will be available for purchase.

Fall and Winter Decor Swap
Oct. 4; Noon-3 p.m. Harmon Park Neighborhood Center
Donations before the event will be accepted at West St. Paul City Hall (1616 Humboldt Ave.) October 2 and 3 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Everything is free, no donations are required to shop. Leftovers will be given to a reuse charity. All donations must be clean and fully functional. Staff reserve the right to turn away items.
