I worked as a doctor before serving as Sacramento County’s Chief Medical Officer and later as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at UC Davis. In every role I’ve taken, my mission has been the same: to do good, to do no harm, and protect what matters most — our health, our planet, and the most vulnerable among us.
