Before my time in Congress, I dedicated my life to medicine. I worked as a doctor before serving as Sacramento County’s Chief Medical Officer and later as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at UC Davis. In every role I’ve taken, my mission has been the same: to do good, to do no harm, and protect what matters most — our health, our planet, and the most vulnerable among us.
But Republicans in Congress are not interested in protecting any of that. Their agenda threatens the well-being of our communities and undermines the progress we’ve fought for. That’s why I need you to stand with me as we work to take back the House.
