I have an important campaign update for you: I now have an opponent in my re-election campaign for Cook County Board President.
We've been here before. Every election cycle, challengers emerge to attack our progress. But here's what we've accomplished, just in the last four years:
* expanded healthcare access

* eliminated nearly $665 million in medical debt for more than 556,000 Cook County residents
