The biggest record of HOPE: are you in?
([link removed])
John, you’re probably as shocked as me. This weekend was absolutely horrifying.
On Saturday, we saw Britain’s biggest ever far-right protest, with police estimating over 150,000 people in attendance and Tommy Robinson’s Unite for Britain rally.
This didn’t just happen overnight. In the past year alone, we’ve watched race riots explode up and down the country. Anti-asylum rhetoric boiling over into violence, and Operation Raise the Colours ([link removed]) mobilising people to put up flags hell bent on driving fear and division in our communities.
This is not about Tommy Robinson. It’s not even about Nigel Farage or Reform. This is about far-right extremism trying to get its grip on Britain.
Saturday was a wake up call. But let me be clear: there are more of us than them. More people who believe in kindness, over hostility. More people committed to creating stronger, more united communities.
There are even people who attended the march – driven by fear – that we can win back - but there’s no time to lose. We must show it, John.
The far right set their own record this weekend. A record we can drown out. ([link removed])
We’re building the biggest record of hope against hate. The biggest movement of people committed to battling hate. There’s no time to lose - we will not let far right extremism win. Are you in, John?
Add my name to the biggest record of hope ([link removed])
This week, I’ve had activists from the 70s and 80s telling me it’s like we’re being plunged back into that darkness. The far right have shown they have numbers, which is why now more than ever we have to show they don’t have the numbers on us.
Together, we can build the biggest record of hope against hate - but it will take all of us. Will you add your name? ([link removed])
I stand for hope ([link removed])
Thanks for standing in hope, John. We’ll be in touch soon with other campaign-critical actions to take.
In solidarity,
Nick Lowles - CEO
