Did you know that Literacy Pittsburgh ([link removed]) currently has 275 adult learners on our waiting list? They need someone just like you to help them develop English language, reading, math and career skills.
Volunteering with Literacy Pittsburgh ([link removed]) gives you the chance to see firsthand the impact of your actions. You don't need to have teaching experience, and you don't need to speak a foreign language. Your enthusiasm, patience and compassion are far more important.
With your help, each of those new students could get started on their goals. Make Literacy Month a life-changing celebration for these waiting students!
