We’ve all seen Trump’s baseless tirades against mail-in voting. He and other members of his administration think it’s okay for them to mail in their ballots. Mike Pence and his wife both voted by mail using an address they hadn’t lived in for years! But the rest of us? We’re just supposed to deal with a lack of early voting measures, long lines at the polls, and insecure polling places -- in the middle of a global pandemic.

It’s up to us to take a stand and remind our elected officials that participating in our democracy at the expense of our health is unconscionable.

So we’ve put together three meaningful actions you can take at home to help make voting safer before this November. Each one is designed to take only a few minutes. You can do as many as you’d like and at your own pace. You can even forward this email to your friends and get them involved. It’s your choice. Let’s get started!

It’s been over a month since the House of Representatives passed the HEROES Act -- a bill that allocates trillions of dollars supporting our pandemic-ravaged country, including billions to improve our elections. But predictably, Mitch McConnell is keeping the Senate bill locked in legislative purgatory. 

Call your senators today and demand they pass the full $4 billion in federal election assistance to protect and expand voting opportunities.
