Hi John, here's an update on the latest.
We've got the guts to say what you're thinking.
PAULINE AND MALCOLM
ON THE ROAD

Proving once again that no political party covers more ground than One Nation, Senators Pauline Hanson, and Malcolm Roberts have completed a wide-ranging trip through Maryborough, Biggenden and Coulston Lakes region.

Over the weekend the Senators met with the Coulston Lakes Irrigation Group, judged various events at the Biggenden Campdraft at Brooweena, attended the National Vietnam Veterans Day breakfast with Maryborough RSL and met with representatives of the local timber industry at Maryborough.

But the trip also provided them with an excellent opportunity to speak with everyday Aussies who rarely get a chance to speak with their representatives.

Unlike the other parties, One Nation never misses an opportunity to get out and about and learn firsthand the issues Aussies are facing and how they think we can solve them.

One Nation also came out strongly in support of the Maryborough timber industry. While the other political parties cave in to pressure from left-wing activists who would like to see the timber industry shut down, One Nation will always fight so that this industry and other industries under threat from activists, continue to grow and thrive.

If you would like to know more about what occurred on this trip, Senator Hanson published a letter summarising the trip and thanking all those she met and spoke with which you can read on her Facebook page.

STEPHEN ANDREW FIGHTS BACK
AGAINST LABOR’S REEF BILL

One Nation’s member for Mirani, Stephen Andrew, has come out hard against the Queensland Labor Government’s Reef Bill.

Speaking on social media Stephen exclaimed, “To call a spade a spade, the Reef Bill's purpose is deeply flawed, and sadly there are two distinct sides very publicly going all out to discredit the other side, whilst the agricultural sector and by association the entire Queensland economy is on the verge of going out the back-door.”

“Behind the destructive arguments are the hundreds of millions having been spent; and vastly more proposed to sustain questionable white-collar welfare schemes that manifest into huge administrative overheads, badly targeted research and delivery of outcomes nowhere near the paddocks; which are arguably the start of the claimed problems.”

In an attempt to educate some of his more out of touch colleges in the Queensland State Parliament, Stephen held a presentation in Parliament house. It brought people with real-world agricultural experience to the city to present cost-effective and environmentally responsible solutions.

You don’t see that very often in the Queensland parliament but thanks to Stephen, you have the opportunity to catch a replay of the forum via YouTube.

It is a great presentation and a handy thing to show people who don’t get why Labor’s Reef Bill won’t work.

MARK LATHAM NSW ABORTION
One Nation’s NSW Leader Mark Latham has continued to apply the blowtorch to Gladys Berejiklian over the Liberal Government’s bungled handling of new abortion laws.

Mark accused the proponents of the bill of ramming it through, so the bill avoided proper scrutiny and pointed the finger at the Premier for allowing this bad process.

Guaranteeing good opposing is one of One Nation's roles and thanks to Mark and Rod Roberts, some light has been shined on the secretive and the shadowy way this legislation has been forced through the lower house.

Because of One Nation’s strong opposition, this Bill has been delayed but the fight continues.
Too often, without One Nation, the major parties have the ability to join forces and push bad legislation through parliaments without proper scrutiny or consequence.

You can see Mark’s full speech on his Facebook page.

That's your recap from One Nation this week.
While you're here, we'd love to ask a favour. We are a party with fewer resources than Labor with their union donations and the Liberals with their big corporates, but with your help and by listening to the people, we can achieve real change in parliament for the betterment of the country.

One Nation is run on purely grass roots support. We rely on the contributions of mums, dads, daughters and sons from the top to bottom of Australia to stay running as a party and every dollar counts.

We appreciate times are tough but even a small amount of support makes a difference. Your help enables us to keep up the fight in politics and get Australia back on track.
