We've launched this to help you to start a conversation about sexting with the young people you work with
Hi John,
I hope you're keeping well.
Last Friday we launched Let's Talk About Sexting ([link removed][UNIQID]) and I'm delighted to share this new tool with you now.
It’s designed to support you to
start a conversation about sexting with the young people you work with, and help you address questions they may have.

Sexual health & our new normal
One of the points highlighted at our launch event ([link removed][UNIQID]) was that online communication has become the main source of connection for young people during Covid-19.
As restrictions ease, we will be working with youth workers to support young people’s sexual health and to build healthy relationships.
Let's Talk About Sexting ([link removed][UNIQID]) is a tool developed by the National Youth Health Programme here at NYCI with support from An Garda Síochána. It provides guidance on:
* What is meant by the term ‘sexting’
* Sexting and the Irish law
* Guidance for young people on what to do if they are involved in a sexting incident which they are not comfortable in
* Guidance for the youth worker if a young person notifies them on a sexting incident
* Additional supports and services for both the youth worker and young people
If you have any feedback or questions on Let's Talk About Sexting ([link removed][UNIQID]) , I'd love to hear from you.
