Chair John Waldron Takes on Ryan Walters' Loyalty Tests for Teachers
John,
We're rushing this to you over the weekend so you had the chance to see.
Our new State Chair, Representative John Waldron, was on CNN this week fighting back against Ryan Walters' latest attempt to embarass our state.
STOP WALTERS PURITY TESTS [[link removed]]
Walters has instituted an ideological purity test for teachers moving from only blue states he dislikes to screen out the teachers who put education and truth over his MAGA fantasies.
If only we'd made him take a test before becoming State Superintendent...
We all know what this is. As Representative Waldron wrote:
Follow the money.
Prager U writes the curriculum.
Prager U sells the curriculum materials.
Prager U screens the teachers.
Yes, his intention is to use your tax dollars to pay an out of state company to indoctrinate our kids.
We deserve better.
Oh, and pay no attention to the naked ladies on the screen behind him...
Chair Waldron is standing up and denouncing this extremism because it's a disservice to our students, to teachers, and to our state. [[link removed]]
But it's also important as we build winning campaigns for 2026 that as many Oklahomans see us fighting for them and their families.
Too often, Oklahomans don't hear from Democrats on the important issues affecting them, or many believe we don't have a meaningful voice.
