Chair John Waldron Takes on Ryan Walters' Loyalty Tests for Teachers

Our new State Chair, Representative John Waldron, was on CNN this week fighting back against Ryan Walters' latest attempt to embarass our state.

Walters has instituted an ideological purity test for teachers moving from only blue states he dislikes to screen out the teachers who put education and truth over his MAGA fantasies.

If only we'd gotten to give him a test before he became State Superintendent... 

We all know what this is. As Representative Waldron wrote:

Chair Waldron is standing up and denouncing this extremism because it's a disservice to our students, to teachers, and to our state. 

But it's also important as we build winning campaigns for 2026 that as many Oklahomans see us fighting for them and their families. 

Too often, Oklahomans don't hear from Democrats on the important issues affecting them, or many believe we don't have a meaningful voice.
