Join us for the second installment of a special virtual event series spotlighting on-the-ground staff visits to our Global Partners [[link removed]] . In this session, we’ll focus on Maya Health Alliance [[link removed]] , also known as Wuqu’ Kawoq.
Since 2007, Maya Health Alliance has been dedicated to advancing health care in rural regions of Guatemala. Using a community-based approach, they combine local medicine, culture, and language to overcome barriers to care.
We will open this one-hour Zoom presentation with reflections and photos from the site visit [[link removed]] , shared by Senior Analyst Hannah Evans, who had the opportunity to witness the organization's impact firsthand. Then, we’ll turn the spotlight to Anne Kraemer, co-founder of Maya Health Alliance, who will share updates on key programs, plans for the future, and growth opportunities.

Maya Health Alliance headquarters is in Tecpán, about an hour outside of Antigua.
