Join us for the second installment of a special virtual event series spotlighting on-the-ground staff visits to our Global Partners. In this session, we’ll focus on Maya Health Alliance, also known as Wuqu’ Kawoq.
Since 2007, Maya Health Alliance has been dedicated to advancing health care in rural regions of Guatemala. Using a community-based approach, they combine local medicine, culture, and language to overcome barriers to care.
We will open this one-hour Zoom presentation with reflections and photos from the site visit, shared by Senior Analyst Hannah Evans, who had the opportunity to witness the organization's impact firsthand. Then, we’ll turn the spotlight to Anne Kraemer, co-founder of Maya Health Alliance, who will share updates on key programs, plans for the future, and growth opportunities.
