Plus, a spotlight on Shelley Moore Capito!   August 8, 2025 The Latest News   A Renewed Push for a Women's History Museum There's a renewed push for a National Museum of American Women's History thanks to the leadership of multiple WFW PAC-endorsed members of Congress. In 2020, Congress approved a measure introduced by Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME) and the late Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) to establish the museum on the National Mall. President Trump signed it into law, but funding still needs to be allocated. A bipartisan coalition recently sent a letter to the chairs of the House Appropriations Committee that made the case for the museum's funding. As Republican Women's Caucus Co-Chair Kat Cammack (FL-03) stated, “Our nation’s history has been shaped by strong, trailblazing women whose stories deserve to be told. Sharing those stories is the first step in honoring their monumental accomplishments.’’ Promoting "Working Families Tax Cuts" One Nation, a public policy organization aligned with Majority Leader John Thune, recently launched a major ad campaign showcasing popular tax provisions included in the "Big Beautiful Bill," such as the elimination of taxes on tips and overtime. Ashley Moody (R-FL) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV). You can watch their ads here and here. Spotlight On: Sen.
