There's a renewed push for a National Museum of American Women's History thanks to the leadership of multiple WFW PAC-endorsed members of Congress. In 2020, Congress approved a measure introduced by Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME) and the late Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) to establish the museum on the National Mall. President Trump signed it into law, but funding still needs to be allocated. A bipartisan coalition recently sent a letter to the chairs of the House Appropriations Committee that made the case for the museum's funding.
As Republican Women's Caucus Co-Chair Kat Cammack (FL-03) stated, “Our nation’s history has been shaped by strong, trailblazing women whose stories deserve to be told. Sharing those stories is the first step in honoring their monumental accomplishments.’’
