**This back-to-school season isn’t starting in a classroom.** It started in
parking lots, church halls and even a zoo!
In Ohio, backpacks were handed out at libraries and shelter sites. In Indiana,
families stopped by local gyms for school supplies. At Texas community
centers, kids left with packed backpacks. And in Michigan? We're gearing up
for a special event _at the zoo_ —because **Operation Backpack®** is meeting
families where they are, with supplies, encouragement and care packed into
every bag.
These pop-up events, these moments? **They’re all possible, because of you.**
You're helping a child walk into class with confidence…lightening the load for
a mom trying to make ends meet…and creating real moments of hope that ripple
far beyond the first day of school.
