Email from Santa Fe Dreamers Project Legal clinics, worker justice, and the fight to end immigrant detention     Working Together Toward Immigrant Justice   Hi [First Name], Here’s what we’ve been up to! Thanks to your ongoing support through Todos Juntos, our monthly giving community: 1. Legal Clinics for Hospitality Workers This month, we partnered with the La Fonda Foundation to launch our first in a series of legal clinics supporting hospitality workers in Santa Fe. In just one day, we completed 23 consultations and are now working on 13 active cases ranging from U-Visas to family-based adjustments. For immigrant workers, legal status means more than paperwork! It’s about safety, security, and economic mobility. 2. Fighting to End Immigration Detention in New Mexico As an abolitionist organization, we’ve long advocated for a future without cages. That’s why we’re thrilled that Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham is considering adding the Dignity Not Detention Act to a special legislative session. This bill would ban private immigration detention facilities in New Mexico. Now is the time to act: 📞 Call or email your state rep and senator today: [link removed] 📖 Read the coverage in the Santa Fe New Mexican: Read more Together, we’re building a future rooted in dignity, not detention. Thank you for being part of it. In solidarity, Santa Fe Dreamers Project         PO Box 8009 Santa Fe, NM 87504   Santa Fe Dreamers Project | P.O.
