Working Together Toward Immigrant Justice

 Hi [First Name],

Here’s what we’ve been up to! Thanks to your ongoing support through Todos Juntos, our monthly giving community:

1. Legal Clinics for Hospitality Workers

This month, we partnered with the La Fonda Foundation to launch our first in a series of legal clinics supporting hospitality workers in Santa Fe. In just one day, we completed 23 consultations and are now working on 13 active cases ranging from U-Visas to family-based adjustments. For immigrant workers, legal status means more than paperwork! It’s about safety, security, and economic mobility.

2. Fighting to End Immigration Detention in New Mexico

As an abolitionist organization, we’ve long advocated for a future without cages. That’s why we’re thrilled that Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham is considering adding the Dignity Not Detention Act to a special legislative session. This bill would ban private immigration detention facilities in New Mexico.

Now is the time to act:

Together, we’re building a future rooted in dignity, not detention. Thank you for being part of it.
