Team — If you don’t want to read all of Trump’s rambling, here’s what just happened.

Today, the Bureau of Labor Statistics put out an important jobs report that showed the American economy slowing down under Trump’s leadership.

Trump responded by firing the non-partisan official in charge of the department that puts out that report.

This is what dictators do.

Don’t like the facts? Just replace scientists and experts with cranks and grifters. Don’t like the data? Just replace the people who crunch the numbers with your MAGA die-hards who will happily lie to the American people.

We have seen this play out across the federal government, from the Environmental Protection Agency, to the National Institutes of Health, and now at the Bureau of Labor.

But despite his desperation to cover it up, the truth remains: Trump’s economy is stuttering, and working families are feeling the pain.

He hasn’t brought down the price of essentials. His tariffs have hurt families and businesses. He cut health care for millions. And now we know that most sectors of the economy are losing jobs, not adding them.

Team — I’m doing everything I can to oppose Trump’s harmful agenda from my post in the Senate, but the reality is we need a nation-wide movement that can make their opposition known and vote out the far-right Republicans who are hurting American workers.
