Stadium supporters and opponents both feel the team should pay property and sales taxes, and also believe the District should pursue a new Metro station for the site and a competitive process for housing and retail development rights.

If you’ve taken a trip to the Virginia countryside during the fall, you may have encountered the seemingly endless traffic heading into the Shenandoah National Park. Locals in places like Front Royal–70 miles west of DC–refer to this traffic collectively as “leaf peepers,” and while they’re anticipated annually, they’re not considered normal.
