Woke Math: 👖+ 🍋= 🫨

<[link removed]>

What do jeans and lemonade have in common? They’re racist.

American Eagle just put out a new ad
<[link removed]>
featuring Sydney Sweeney (some Hollywood type I’ve honestly never heard of).
It's just a clever spot where she talks about “genes” being passed down—then
flips the script and saysher “jeans” are blue. Simple and harmless, right?

Wrong.

The liberal media and internet trolls wasted no time calling it racist,
accusing the company of promoting eugenics, and dragging out the Nazi
comparisons, which really grinds my gears.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Comparing anything to the
Holocaust is disgusting, lazy, and downright wrong. That’s just the go-to for
Democrats when someone doesn’t check all the diversity boxes they cling to.

But it’s not just American Eagle. Dunkin’ Donuts is catching heat
<[link removed]>
now too. The liberal mob is coming after them for an ad where a young
teen-idol type of guy thanks good genes for his golden tan as he drinks some
sorta lemonade beverage. That’s it. That’s the hysteria-inducing controversy.

Folks, this is what the Left is worried about. Not our country’s spiraling
debt. Not the border. Not even the cost of living. They’d rather pitch a fit
over commercials about denim and fruity drinks. This pointless drama is exactly
why they lost last year—and it sureisn’t helping their chances
<[link removed]>
as we approach the midterms.

Meanwhile, I’m back in East Tennessee for our district work period, talking to
folks about real issues that affect their everyday lives. If Democrats put half
as much energy into talking to real people as they do screaming into the void,
this country would be a lot better off. They may even fix a problem or two.

I really thought President Trump’s big victory was going to be a wake-up call
for the radical Left, but I guess it’s true what they say—you can’t teach an
old dog new tricks. Let ‘em whine and we’ll keep working.

On The Road Again 🚙

<[link removed]>

You probably heard I had a little run-in on the farm and broke a rib
<[link removed]>
. But thanks to the folks at UT Medical Center, I didn’t miss a beat. They
patched me up and got meback on the road
<[link removed]>, helping me make the
most of this district work period.

From Smith County <[link removed]> to
Maury County <[link removed]> to Campbell
County <[link removed]>, I’ve been all
over the place talking to constituents about what we’re working on in Congress,
and more importantly, asking how we can do it better. It’s been a busy week,
but I couldn’t be more grateful to serve people like you. It’s always a
pleasure putting faces to names, hearing what’s on your mind, and having
down-to-earth conversations.

Grabbing a few chicken strips from Hoskins Drug Store
<[link removed]> along the way doesn’t
hurt either. And yes, that’s your friendly reminder to support those local
mom-and-pop shops that make America so dadgum special.
