Republicans are so afraid of what might be in the Epstein files that instead of holding a vote on the resolution calling for their release, Speaker Mike Johnson shut down the House early and sent every member of Congress home for a month.
This obstruction is completely unacceptable. Andrea Salinas was elected by the people of Oregon’s sixth district to pass meaningful legislation on behalf of working families — but Republicans have ground Congress to a halt just to protect the rich and powerful who want these files hidden from the public.
