Team, right now the House of Representatives is out of session — because Mike Johnson sent Congress home early:

Republicans are so afraid of what might be in the Epstein files that instead of holding a vote on the resolution calling for their release, Speaker Mike Johnson shut down the House early and sent every member of Congress home for a month.

This obstruction is completely unacceptable. Andrea Salinas was elected by the people of Oregon’s sixth district to pass meaningful legislation on behalf of working families — but Republicans have ground Congress to a halt just to protect the rich and powerful who want these files hidden from the public.

It’s clear: Mike Johnson is more concerned with protecting Donald Trump, political elites, and serial abusers than letting Congress do its job. The American people deserve transparency, but if Mike Johnson refuses to step up, Democrats will.
