I’m running for one reason above all: Too many Nevadans are working harder than ever and still getting nowhere, and I know we can change that.

I’ve spent my career fighting for families like mine because I’ve lived what so many people are facing right now. I come from a family that worked hard but struggled. Some nights, all we had to eat were stale candy bars.

I became a dad during college, and a single dad not long after. I relied on food stamps and Medicaid to keep going. But I didn’t give up. I kept fighting.

I became a public school math teacher. I earned five degrees. I raised four boys with my wife, Berna. I ran for State Senate, then became Majority

Leader, then Attorney General – and every step of the way, I’ve carried one mission with me: To fight for the Nevada Family.

Unemployment is up, costs are through the roof, and working people are getting squeezed. Nothing’s gotten better under his watch – and that’s why I’m running to unseat him.

The Cook Political Report called Lombardo “the most vulnerable Republican governor in the country.” This isn’t just a top flip opportunity – it’s the flip opportunity. If we show up early and big, we can take this seat back. But if we don’t, we lose it. It’s that simple.
