Connecticut Democrats once again chose special interests over Connecticut t=
axpayers. They adopted an overreaching housing bill that protects developer=
s, forces towns to accept larger multifamily buildings, even if the town=E2=
=80=99s infrastructure can=E2=80=99t handle it, turns town greens into tent=
cities, and drives property taxes higher and higher.
=C2=A0
Because of pressure from so many around the state, Governor Lamont vetoed t=
his bad bill, but has said he wants a different bill that will accomplish t=
he same thing.
=C2=A0
Connecticut needs strong Republican leadership that believes in protecting =
our towns and cities, that will reduce property taxes, make our transportat=
ion infrastructure more reliable, and will improve the quality of life for =
all Connecticut citizens.=C2=A0
