The Texas Legislature convenes today for a special session — which will include a big fight over Greg Abbott and Donald Trump’s attempt to gerrymander Texas’s congressional maps ahead of the midterms.

Put simply: Trump knows that his toxic agenda will cost him the midterms – so he’s decided the only way he can win is by cheating .

If Trump and Abbott get their way, Texas’s maps will be rigged to give Republicans FIVE new congressional seats that could help them keep control of the House of Representatives.
