LA County is partnering with Archistar to launch the new *eCheck AI Pilot*, a cutting-edge tool that reviews building plans for compliance with zoning rules using artificial intelligence. If your single-family home was impacted by the Eaton Fire or the Palisades Fire and is located in a *single-family* (*R-1) residential zone in the unincorporated Altadena or Sunset Mesa communities*, you are invited to join as an *Early Adopter*.
Here’s how to participate:
* Sign up for a free account at echeck.lacounty.gov [ [link removed] ]
* Look up your property address
* Upload your architectural drawings in PDF format
Choose between *Like-for-Like* and *Non-Like-for-Like* rebuild projects. During the pilot, results may take up to *10 business days*, but may be delivered faster. When your results are ready, you can review them on the eCheck platform and include the downloadable report in your *County Disaster Recovery* *Permit – Rebuild Project application*.
