Earlier this year, the national Republican Party publicly revealed its top Democratic targets in next year’s midterms… and to no one’s surprise, I was on the list.

This means the far-right is going to spend millions of dollars in an attempt to kick me out of office and install an extremist Republican in my place who will rubberstamp Trump’s agenda.

But here’s the good news: If we win right here in CA-47, we could DENY House Republicans a majority next year. But in order to make that happen, we need to grow our grassroots war chest, expand our campaign operations, and stay prepared. I want to let you in on a little secret: I’ve heard from multiple Democratic pundits who believe that my candor and my courage are a liability. They think that my willingness to call out Donald Trump could make my re-election much tougher.
