Earlier this year, the national Republican Party publicly revealed its top Democratic targets in next year’s midterms… and to no one’s surprise, I was on the list.

This means the far-right is going to spend millions of dollars in an attempt to kick me out of office and install an extremist Republican in my place who will rubberstamp Trump’s agenda.

But here’s the good news: If we win right here in CA-47, we could DENY House Republicans a majority next year. But in order to make that happen, we need to grow our grassroots war chest, expand our campaign operations, and stay prepared. That’s why I’m humbly asking: Can you split a donation right now between my campaign and Democratic Values to help me keep CA-47 blue?

I want to let you in on a little secret: I’ve heard from multiple Democratic pundits who believe that my candor and my courage are a liability. They think that my willingness to call out Donald Trump could make my re-election much tougher.

But staying quiet has never been my thing. Never has been, never will be. When I see a wannabe-king do everything in his power to go after your health care and tear down the rule of law, you’re damn right I’m going to be unapologetically loud and bold in fighting back.

And John, I truly believe THAT’S the kind of leadership that wins elections. Because we can’t expect voters to support us if we’re too afraid to stand up, speak out, and raise a little hell.

I’m a proud frontline Democrat, and you’ll NEVER see me running away from what I believe in. So please, if you want to elect a leader who will call out Trump without fear AND keep this toss-up district blue, chip in a split donation to power our fight.
