In 2023, the federal government selected Greenbelt, Maryland as the home
of the new FBI headquarters. 

It was the right decision, both for the FBI and for
Maryland. A state-of-the-art facility, a vibrant and affordable city, easy
access to D.C., and a boost to Maryland’s economy. A win-win-win.

We fought tooth and nail to bring this project to our state. But
unfortunately, Donald Trump has suddenly decided to push the FBI into an
outdated D.C. building just to punish the “liberal state” of Maryland.

This is how Donald Trump sees America: Us vs. them. Blue states vs. red
states. 

Now, the men and women of the FBI are getting caught in the crossfire. 

We can’t accept this. My fellow Maryland representatives and I are
fighting back with every tool we have. 

The fact of the matter is that the FBI needs a secure and modern HQ, and
the people of Maryland need leaders who’ll stand up to bullies like Donald
Trump. 

That’s exactly what I’ll do. “Giving up” is not in my
