In 2023, the federal government selected Greenbelt, Maryland as the home of the new FBI headquarters. 

It was the right decision, both for the FBI and for Maryland. A state-of-the-art facility, a vibrant and affordable city, easy access to D.C., and a boost to Maryland’s economy. A win-win-win.

FBI to relocate headquarters in DC, abandoning plan for suburban Maryland campus

We fought tooth and nail to bring this project to our state. But unfortunately, Donald Trump has suddenly decided to push the FBI into an outdated D.C. building just to punish the “liberal state” of Maryland. 

I won’t stand for this petty revenge-seeking. Will you take a moment to chip in just $5, $10, whatever you can, to help me stand up to this bullying president? I’m counting on your voice and your support to take this fight as far as it can go.

Now, the men and women of the FBI are getting caught in the crossfire. 

We can’t accept this. My fellow Maryland representatives and I are fighting back with every tool we have. 

The fact of the matter is that the FBI needs a secure and modern HQ, and the people of Maryland need leaders who’ll stand up to bullies like Donald Trump. 

That’s exactly what I’ll do. “Giving up” is not in my vocabulary — not when our prosperity is at stake. If you’re with me, will you consider chipping in a few bucks to power our work to reverse this decision and let Marylanders know what’s on the line?
