Substantial Damage Inspection Workshop

The Nebraska Floodplain Management Division and NeFSMA are excited to bring you this FREE workshop in conjunction with the NeFSMA Annual Conference. [ [link removed] ] During this course, attendees will learn the basics of substantial damage requirements under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), as well as more advanced topics such as:


* Completing substantial damage inspections
* Using FEMA’s Substantial Damage Estimator 3.0 tool
* Building a database of structures in the floodplain
* Communicating substantial damage requirements to your community members, and
* Creating a substantial damage management plan

Attendees will also gain valuable hands-on experience with conducting in-field substantial damage inspections using real world examples; a training format that has not been offered before by the  Floodplain Management team.
