Hello John,

There’s much to tell you. But first, do you remember Cecil? Ten years ago in Zimbabwe, this mighty and beloved lion was brutally killed by an American trophy hunter, armed with a bow and arrow.

Killing animals for ‘fun’ to hang their heads on the wall? We say no! Born Free is battling to end the brutal ‘sport’ of trophy hunting, and we need your help.

But there’s a LOT of good news to share as well, from Blue the orphan cheetah, to a giant success story, and a FREE tiger webinar. Read on!

CECIL: 10 YEARS ON

Ten years since the barbaric killing of Cecil the lion shocked the world, we ask what’s changed? And what’s next for trophy hunting?

Last night, we co-hosted a major Westminster event, to urge parliament to finally ban the UK import of grotesque hunting trophies. Please contact your MP to demand the Government delivers on its manifesto commitment and changes the law.

Look out for our powerful new campaign, on digital billboards across London. Created by Born Free and photographer George Logan, using an Ocean Outdoor advertising grant, they call for an end to Trophy Hunting as we mark 10 years since Cecil was shot.
