Elk, deer and pronghorn have begun giving birth to fawns and calves and some of these newborns may be seen in coming weeks. *To protect young wildlife* [ [link removed] ], if you encounter a fawn or calf, do not approach, touch or move it. Instead, leave the area and keep children and pets from going near the animal.
Lutz receives high honor
Daryl Lutz receives high honor from WAFWA
Daryl Lutz, Wyoming Game and Fish Department wildlife management coordinator in the Lander Region, was recently *awarded the Phillip W. Schneider Lifetime Achievement Award* [ [link removed] ] from the Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies.
