Help protect baby wildlife
Elk, deer and pronghorn have begun giving birth to fawns and calves and some of these newborns may be seen in coming weeks. To protect young wildlife, if you encounter a fawn or calf, do not approach, touch or move it. Instead, leave the area and keep children and pets from going near the animal.

Wyoming Bears are active at lower elevations and along roadways
As warmer weather prompts increased bear activity, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department urges outdoor recreationists and homeowners to take preventative measures to avoid conflicts with bears. Game and Fish is committed to minimizing human-carnivore conflicts and requests that the public promptly report any bear conflicts or sightings of bears in residential areas to their local Game and Fish office.
