CT Judge DENIES Dismissal of Voter Fraud Case

Updates from Rep. Canino Below:


"After Arlanda Brantley used wite-out to change voter registration cards from Republican to Democrat, a CT judge REJECTED her request for accelerated rehabilitation (AR), which would have dismissed her case.


Thankfully, the courts upheld the rule of law today and I look forward to them holding Brantley and all offenders of voter fraud equally accountable. Stay tuned for more updates!"

State funds Bridgeport elections monitors through 2026

"Secretary of the State Stephanie Thomas can "envision" a day when Connecticut's largest municipality may no longer need election monitors to ensure candidates, campaigns and voters comply with the law.


But that day has not yet arrived. Connecticut legislators included $300,000 in their just-passed state budget to keep Thomas' monitors in Democrat-run Bridgeport for this year's upcoming municipal primary and general election, 2026's contests for state offices, and any special elections held during that same timeframe."

Man wanted for homicide in Ecuador is found in Connecticut almost 15 years later

"U.S. Marshals said recent evidence surfaced from the collaboration of authorities, and Cabrera was eventually located in Oxford, Connecticut, where he had been living under an assumed identity.

Officials said Cabrera entered the U.S. without legal documentation and had been living in the country for several years.


Cabrera is currently in custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, pending immigration removal proceedings."
