The Supreme Court term is almost over, which means we're watching closely for a decision in Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic -- a case that could determine the future of Medicaid patient rights in this country.

This case is about whether patients who rely on Medicaid can sue in federal court to protect their right to choose the health care provider that is best for them -- including Planned Parenthood.

When South Carolina violated patients' rights by trying to exclude Planned Parenthood health centers from the state's Medicaid program, we fought back in court.
