Mikie Sherrill :: U.S. Congress

I've been a public servant most of my life -- when I left home at 18 to enter the Naval Academy, I took an oath to support and defend our Constitution. It's the same oath I took as the Representative for New Jersey's 11th District.

I take my oath seriously -- it guides everything I do in Congress. But in recent months, we've seen politicians violate their oaths, putting politics over country.

We need more leaders in Washington who know that when you take an oath to our country, you uphold it -- no matter what.

MJ Hegar, Elaine Luria, Gina Ortiz Jones, Elissa Slotkin, Amy McGrath, and Jackie Gordon take their oaths seriously, and that's why they're running to continue serving our country. MJ, Elaine, Gina, Elissa, Amy, and Jackie are tough -- they've bravely served our country for years. And as a former Navy pilot and a proud New Jerseyan, I know grit and strength is essential for doing this job.

Each of these women have spent their careers fighting for us, and they'll continue to fight for us in Congress -- to protect pre-existing conditions protections, lower prescription drug prices, honor our veterans with the resources they need, and get big money out of our elections.

But we can't do it without your help. We're all in competitive races facing down Washington Republicans and powerful outside groups that will do anything to stop committed leaders like us from making it to the decision-making table and creating real change.
