I’ve been a public servant most of my life -- when I left home at 18 to enter the Naval Academy, I took an oath to support and defend our Constitution. It’s the same oath I took as the Representative for New Jersey’s 11th District.

I take my oath seriously -- it guides everything I do in Congress. But in recent months, we’ve seen politicians violate their oaths, putting politics over country.

We need more leaders in Washington who know that when you take an oath to our country, you uphold it -- no matter what.
