2023 Nonemployer Statistics Marine Economy

On Wednesday, June 18, the Census Bureau is set to release the 2023 Nonemployer Statistics (NES) estimates of the U.S. Marine Economy [ [link removed] ]. NES provide economic data for businesses that have no paid employees, are subject to federal income tax, and have receipts of $1,000 or more ($1 or more for the Construction sector).



2025 FSRDC Annual Conference Call for Papers [ [link removed] ]

Researchers: We invite you to submit papers ahead of the 2025 Federal Statistical Research Data Center (FSRDC) Annual Research Conference taking place September 26 at Cornell University.

All papers that are based on current or recent research leveraging the restricted-use confidential data accessed within the FSRDCs are welcome.

America Counts: Property Insurance Costs Can be High in Every U.S. Region [ [link removed] ]

You don’t have to live on the hurricane-prone Gulf Coast or in “Tornado Alley” to face high property insurance costs. Over 5.3 million households paid more than $4,000 a year for their property insurance in 2023, according to the American Community Survey.
