I hope you’ll forgive me for writing on a Sunday. With MPs due to vote on the
assisted dying Bill in just five days, there is no time to waste. I want to
ensure that, across the board, we have done everything possible to get this Bill
over the line.


That’s why I wanted to send you a message, personally, to make sure that you
have emailed your MP, asking them to attend the crucial Third Reading vote next
Friday (20th June) and vote in support of law change. I don’t need to tell you
how important - and rare - this opportunity is. Everything will come down to
this vote.

If you haven’t contacted your MP in the last week, it’s still not too late to do
so. Opponents of this compassionate change are mobilising in force and supportive
MPs need to be reminded that this is what they were elected to do – represent
the will of the people. Law change is the will of every constituency in the
country, and we mustn’t let them forget it.

done to back this bill and all you will do to make an assisted dying law a
reality.


It’s time to do better for dying people. It’s time to change the law on assisted
